Have you seen the Everyday Occasions Cardmaking Kit from Stampin’ Up? You might have missed it (I did) because it wasn’t in the catalog. You know, initially I wasn’t excited about this kit but then I saw it during an open house event and fell in love with it! Inside the kit is everything (except SNAIL) you need to make 20 cards for any occasion. The envelopes are also included! And they are super quick to put together! It even comes with a full color instructional booklet.
I sat down with my box around 8:30pm and found that I just could not stop putting these cards together! The intsruction booklet doesn’t have a step-by-step guide for each card but it’s pretty easy to figure out how to put it together by following the little notes next to each photo of the card.
The whole kit probably took me only 3 hours to put together, that’s an average of 9 minutes per card! Who doesn’t have 9 minutes to make a card for their friends or family? And the kit is a smart buy at only $29.95 (or $1.45 per card)! Plus you get the stamps to use for any other cards you may wish to make down the road. If you follow the instructions explicitly, you’ll end up with three “Congratulations” cards, four “For you” cards, 5 “Happy Birthday” cards, two “Love” cards, four “Thank You” cards and two “Thinking of You” cards. Here are my favorites:

I love this card because of all the texture that’s here! The little note paper behind the tag is just so adorable! I can’t get enough of this cute card!

I love this card because of the color contrasts and also because of how simple it was to put together!

When I first saw the feathers on this in the booklet, I wasn’t so convinced that I’d like this card. Turns out it’s one of my favorites from the whole set!

I love this card because of the multiple layers and also because of the slight resist that happens when you stamp on the yellow heart.

Okay so there was one card in the kit that I wasn’t crazy about. So you know what I did? I made it my own! And this is what came of it! There are going to be extra pieces in your kit if you follow the brochure to the letter so you have plenty of pieces to pick and choose from to alter the designs if you wish! Here I used some extra pieces of printed craft and an extra piece of the glimmer paper to make this card my own. I also added a button from the brights collection. I just love how it turned out!

The note cards in this kit are my favorite! I just love the lined paper look! This card is absolutely gorgeous with the doily background!

This adorable yet simple sentiment is just so pretty! I love the striped background on this card. The bold red heart just pops right off the card!
The Everyday Essentials Card Making Kit makes a wonderful gift for anyone! You can order these from my store any time of day! Enjoy!
