Hello stampers! Today’s post is special — it’s my first time participating in a card making challenge! Today’s challenge is provided by CAS(E) This Sketch #109. Here’s the sketch:
Here’s the first card I’m submitting. I used the Big Day stamp set, which is a Sale-A-Bration freebie! The ice cream cone was made by using the star balloon stamp from Balloon Bash.
I stamped it six times onto whisper white and punched it out with a small circle punch. Each punched balloon was folded in half and adhered to each other with a glue dot. The cone was made with a piece of Baked Brown Sugar cardstock that I embossed with the Argyle TEIF. It’s topped off with a pom-pom. I got this idea from Shelli Gardner who shared how to make an ice cream cone at leadership 2015.
The second card that I’m submitting is just a simple masculine card.
This card features two Sale-A-Bration freebies: Big Day and Best Year Ever Designer Series Paper. So many great patterns of paper to play with this spring! I sure am going to miss Coastal Cabana when it’s retired in June. Here’s another view of the same card:
