I absolutely adore the new Bloomin’ Love stamp set that will be making its debut in the 2016 Occasions catalog on January 5th! Today I want to share with you this card I made using the new Bloomin’ Love Bundle and coordinating Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack.
The Bloomin’ Hearts Thinlits dies coordinate perfectly with the four single flowers from the Bloomin’ Love photopolymer set. The large heart die also has sections that coordinate perfectly with both the smaller dies and the stamps. Lot’s of great possibilities for this set! I can’t wait to explore it a little more.
The greeting was stamped with Rose Red ink and die cut with the now retired Apothecary Accents Thinlits dies. I also used the old Essentials Paper Piercing pack (also retired) to pierce the greeting panel. If you’re looking to achieve this same effect with current supplies, you could also use the Lots of Labels Framelits and the Updated Essentials Paper Piercing Pack.
The background itself was created by stamping the large heart and small flowers randomly in Rose Red ink on a panel of Rose Red paper. I love the tone-on-tone effect.
