2016 OnStage Local (Vancouver, WA) Swap featuring Reason for the Season stamp set and Lots of Labels framelits | A Work of Carte

November 2018 VIP Host Code: CQHEC9EJ

Hello stampers! Today I’d like to share with you some swaps I received at the OnStage Local convention back in November. Here are four wonderful cards designed by some very talented swappers!

The first (pictured above) features the “Reason for the Season” stamp set and Lots of Labels framelits dies. I like how simple this card is! I’m not sure who created this card, but if you recognize this card and know who made it, please let me know so I can apply appropriate credit!

2016 OnStage Local (Vancouver, WA) Swap featuring Friendly Wishes stamp set and Brick Wall embossing folder. Designed by Angela McCormack | A Work of Carte

This card was created by my Fun ‘N Crafty team mate, Angela McCormack! I like the bold choice of colors on this card as well as the simple layout. This card features the Friendly Wishes stamp set, circles framelits and the Brick Wall embossing folder. The heart was punched using the Itty Bitty Accents punch pack. Wonderful card, Angela! Thanks for the swap!

2016 OnStage Local (Vancouver, WA) Swap featuring Lighthearted Leaves, Leaflets Framelits, Woodland embossing folder and Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack | A Work of Carte

I just love the gold and white on this card! So gorgeous! The sentiment on this card is from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set. The leaves were cut from white vellum and the Winter Wonderland designer vellum stack using the Leaflets Framelits dies. The panel in the back was embossed using the Woodland embossing folder. This folder is currently sold out for the remainder of the season BUT it proved to be so popular that Stampin’ Up has announced that it will be coming out of retirment and returning for the 2016-2017 Annual catalog in June! Can I get a woo hoo? This card was designed by Lorena Martinez-Ochoa. Thanks for the swap, Lorena!

2016 OnStage Local (Vancouver, WA) Swap featuring Blended Bloom | A Work of Carte

What I like most about this card is the lovely embossing on the background panel and the way Rene Purvine cut out the petals and popped them up. I asked her how she achieved this look and she told me she used the Fiskars 360-Swivel Blade Craft Knife. Now that’s a tool I have to have! This card features the Blended Bloom stamp set. Nice work, Rene! Thanks for the Swap!

I have so many more swaps to share with you guys! Make sure you subscribe to my blog (it’s the “Get Blog Updates” section in the sidebar) to receive post notifications! Also, I just got a shipment of Occasions catalogs and Sale-A-Bration brochures! If you haven’t yet requested your catalog, be sure to request one today! My next post will be all about the new Flowering Fields stamp set and the coordinating Wildflower Fields designer series paper. Both are products you can get for free during Sale-A-Bration!
