Who wouldn’t want a little Jar of Love for Valentine’s Day? I know it’s only January but Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! Why not make this cute Jar of Love shaker card for your loved one?
I made this card with the new Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack, which features bold red designs on one side and white designs with red print on the other.
The shaker bits are hearts and circles from the Metallic Sequins Assortment, clear seed beads I purchased at a local craft store, punched hearts using the Confetti Heart Border Punch and two of the wooden elements from the Sending Love Embellishments pack. I also stamped the heart from Jars of Love on the panel behind the confetti. I stamped the heart in Real Red ink, stamped off once and stamped off twice before inking it again for another go. I like how it turned out.
Pro TipIf you wipe the window sheet with an Embossing Buddy prior to adding your sequins, you will have less static cling when you put your shaker card together!
I used both colors in the Sending Love Ribbon Combo Pack to create the bow. I simply held them together as I tied. They were added to the card with a glue dot.
