How to make a cute halloween card featuring Cauldron Bubble stamps by Stampin up and the new toil & trouble suite

November 2018 VIP Host Code: CQHEC9EJ

Welcome, stampers! Today, we’re hopping along with the Fun N Crafty blog hop and my contribution is to share this cute Halloween card with you! This Halloween card features the new Cauldron Bubble stamps from the Toil & Trouble Suite! You can get your hands on these fabulous products starting today!

Now, I have to admit that I saw this Halloween card on Pinterest a while back and loved it so much that I had to recreate it! This Halloween card comes together pretty quickly, even with the coloring, which is the most labor intensive part of the card.

Since the stamps are outline images, this set is perfect for coloring in the medium of your choice. In the video, I show you how to color with Blends but you can also watercolor or even use regular markers to color in the images.

  3. This suite is on my short list for September! It’s super cute and fun. My favorite part of this card is the movement and whimsy of the sequin trim. Wonderful way to use the trim to create movement. I can almost see bubbles swirling around the cauldron!

  4. Super cute! I love your coloring. I’m still working on figuring out how to blend the different shades and how to decide what areas should be darker.

    1. Great rule of thumb is where two points meet, add some shade. I still have to work on my highlighting with the color lifter. Kind of rusty with that.

  5. I love the way you colored your stamping! I don’t have any complaints exactly, just suggestions. I hope you don’t mind. I would have liked to see your measurements of your cardstock and DSP. I find it more helpful for me to be able to list what supplies you used. I am very hard of hearing, so if I can’t catch a color you’re using, I ca look at the list of supplies and catch the color there. I often have to watch a video multiple times to get everything if there’s no list. I did like your video, you are a great colorist! I’d like to learn from you.

    1. Thanks Gloria! I have a list of supplies I used at the end of this post. I’ll keep your suggestions in mind for future content! Be sure to subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss a thing! Happy stamping!
