One of the great things about OnStage is all the new stamp sets from the 2019 Sale-A-Bration and Occasions catalogs that we got to see demonstrated live at the event. There’s a stamp set on the very first page of the catalog that I completely overlooked until Natalie White’s presentation at OnStage. Take a look at the All That You Are cling mount stamp set. What I love about this set are the bold images and the mixed fonts for the greetings!
Here’s a card that Natalie shared with us that was made with the All That You Are stamp set. On this card, she left the outline image mostly uncolored.
The greetings are from the new 2019 Sale-A-Bration stamp set Part of My Story, which is available in English, German and French.
For this next card, she stepped it up a bit by coloring the petals of the flowers with an aqua painter (on sale today!) or blender pen. She also used one of my new favorite colors Gorgeous Grape. If you haven’t had the chance to get this color yet, you can grab it today on sale for 10% off! The sale is valid on all inks and tools but there’s a limited supply so be sure to grab those goodies before they’re gone!
Another great product that we’ll have this year for all your treat packaging needs are these Sweet Treat Cups, which remind me of those to-go soup bowls that restaurants use. They’re the perfect size for just about any small gift or treat and decorating them is a cinch! Simply bring in the Layering Circles Framelits (also on sale today!!) and you’ve got a wonderful box topper that will fit perfectly on the lid.
2019 Sale-A-Bration: Hello Cupcake
One of my favorite offerings for 2019 Sale-A-Bration this year is the Hello Cupcake stamp set! I’ve already got my hot little hands on this set and I can’t wait to share with you what I’ve been creating!
Let me show you three cards that were shared with us during OnStage. They are very similar but have some differences based upon your skill level.
The beginner stamper can make a super cute card using the Hello Cupcake stamp set with 3 ink colors, a card base and some shimmery white card stock. Simply stamp the cupcake liner first, then the cupcake, then the frosting. Last, stamp the greeting and you have a simple birthday card!
Ready to take it up a notch? Stamp the cupcake the same as before but this time smooth the frosting with a blender pen, then stamp on the sprinkles. For the greeting, stamp it onto a separate piece of card stock then cut that piece of card stock to have banner tails. Add a sheet of vellum card stock behind the stamped panel, pop on some rhinestones and you get this amazing card:
Not your first rodeo? Push it over the top by stamping your cupcake on some shimmery white card stock and then fussy cutting it out. Stamp some flowers in pink, and cut those out. Before assembly, stamp the flowers behind where you intend to place the cup cake so they stick out a bit. Greeting is stamped on some coordinating card stock and the vellum card stock is brought back in to give the card added dimension. Assemble the whole thing, pop on some rhinestones and you’ve got yourself a decked out cupcake card!
2019 Occasions Host Set: Here Comes The Sun
One of two stamp sets in our exclusive host offerings, the Here Comes The Sun stamp set is perfect for words of encouragement. This stamp set makes little emblems for your cards.
Here’s an example of how Natalie used the stamps in this set to create a gorgeous emblem on the front of her card. I just love the greetings in this set.
2019 Sale-A-Bration Offering: Craft & Carry Tote Bag
And last, I’ll leave you with one of the best announcements out of OnStage Orlando! Stampin’ Up has designed their own craft bag! Demonstrators can pre-order the craft bag now but customers will be able to get this great bag starting on January 3rd, during Sale-A-Bration!
