One more OnStage recap post and then we’ll be taking a look at what I’ve been making in my studio at home over the holidays! This time, our presenter is Shelli Gardner herself! While at OnStage, Shelli unveiled a handful of stamp sets that are perfect for the tea drinker or fishermen (or women) in your life.
The first set I have to show you is Tea Together, which is a great set for Mother’s Day!
And wouldn’t you know it, we’ve got matching dies to go with Tea Together! The Tea Time Framelits Dies are available only during Sale-A-Bration, which runs from January 3rd to March 31st, 2019. During that time you can earn the dies with your $100 purchase in Stampin’ Up products.
The dies coordinate perfectly with Tea Time and you even get a couple of extra small leaf dies to help you cut out multiples of those smaller shapes faster. Ready to see some projects made with Tea Time?
The first card I want to show you is a simple card made the sentiments and floral images from Tea Time. This simple card includes paper ribbon from the Beautifully Detailed Laser Cut Specialty paper that has been sponged in pink ink.
Here’s a simple card that Shelli shared with us featuring the new Tea Time stamps and a flower cut with the coordinating dies. The variegated ribbon that you see in this card is also new and available in the Occasions catalog.
And the vellum paper used is from the Floral Romance suite in the 2019 Occasions catalog. This paper features two designs printed on vellum and two double sided designs printed on standard designer paper card stock. Here are some more projects made with the new Floral Romance Specialty Designer Series Paper:
Another great couple of sets that Shelli shared on stage were Strong and Beautiful, which is a sentiments set available in cling mount…
And Dear Doily which has both gorgeous sentiments and imagery.
Here’s a card that she made featuring both Strong and Beautiful and Dear Doily.
For the fisher-person in your life, there’s Best Catch, which includes great imagery and a couple of cute sentiments.
Wondering how you’re going to cut out all of those detailed shapes? Wonder no more! With Catch of the Day thinlits dies, the work is already done for you. Simply run the images through your big shot and voila! In addition to the five framelits you’ll need to cut out the shapes from the stamps, you’ll get 4 thinlits that you can use to dress up your projects.
Here’s a cute little treat cup that Shelli made featuring the new Sweet Cups and Best Catch bundle. You may not be able to see it very well but there is a corrugated piece of card stock that Shelli decorated the side of the cup with. In order to make that, you’ll need to take apart one of your treat cups and make a template from the pieces. If you’re planning on running your pieces through a texture folder, you’ll want to make the pattern a couple of inches longer than the cup to account for shrinkage.
The last stamp that Shelli shared with us is this Crackle Paint background stamp, which is great for texture on your cards.
Just look at how amazing this card came out with the crackled texture and a bit of watercoloring. I also love how Shelli added a twig to the card!
That about wraps it up for my OnStage recap series! Be on the watch for my 2019 Occasions & Sale-A-Bration product haul unboxing, which I’ll be sharing right here on my blog this week!
